I’m sure that many of you are missing the activities and meetings that you attend in our Village Hall. Its very sad to see such a first class facility standing empty. But there is some good news. No we can’t open it yet to the general public, but Dartmouth caring are going to use it at weekends to prepare the meals they deliver to those who need them at this time. As trustees we are delighted to be able to be offer them the space to do it.
As the cooker is now twenty years old and not everything is in full working order we applied to Devon County Council for a Covid-19 grant to buy a new one and we were successful. So now it stands gleaming in the kitchen.
We look forward to the time when once again our hall is open to all. Meanwhile keep safe
