We apologise if your waste collections have been disrupted.

For some households, you may have noticed that the vehicle that collects your recycling has changed. Our contractor has switched to this vehicle to make sure that all the recycling you put out is collected.

This waste will be sorted at a local facility and recycled, nothing will be landfilled or incinerated.

Unfortunately, the crews are not able to collect your food waste for recycling at this time. Please use your grey bin for food until further notice. They are also unable to take batteries or printer cartridges right now; please dispose of these as you did before your service changed.

In the meantime, please still continue to separate your materials in the boxes and sack provided (apart from your food waste caddy).  This will ensure that your recycling is separated and ready to be sorted at the kerbside as soon as the new service resumes.

We are very disappointed that the better service we promised is not currently being provided but these temporary measures will allow our contractor time to put the issues right and restore our previously high standards of service.
