National Alpaca Farm
Day 2021
The British Alpaca Society are excited to announce the first ever UK National Alpaca Farm Day over the weekend of 4/5th September 2021 when over 100 Alpaca Farms will open their doors to the public. Alpaca farms all the across the UK are opening their doors to the public and you can find an open farm near you by looking at the interactive map on the BAS website. Go to the individual farm website in your locality for details of what they are offering and the dates and time of opening.
British Alpaca Society CEO, Dr Duncan Pullar, says, “Many British Alpaca Society members already invite the public to meet their alpacas through trekking, yoga and petting opportunities. There will be a farm near enough for everyone in the UK to get up close to an alpaca. Clara Boulton, BAS Board Member and National Alpaca Farm Day supporter, notes, “Getting out into the countryside for the day is good for you and its even better if you can share your time with some interesting, gentle and beautiful creatures.”
